Qualifications

  • J.D. preferred but not required; candidates with equivalent substantive legal, litigation-support, knowledge-management, or legal-technology experience encouraged.
  • 3-5 years of experience in legal practice, legal technology, knowledge management, legal operations, or comparable professional-services environment with hands-on AI/workflow experience.
  • Hands-on AI build experience: prompt engineering, AI workflow or agent development, and configuring legal AI platforms.
  • Working understanding of litigation workflows and attorney work-product standards.
  • Quality and risk discipline: testing, human-review checkpoints, verification steps.
  • Comfort iterating in ambiguity: scope, prototype, iterate toward production.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; teach AI concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Light coding fluency (Python/SQL) and experience with workflow builders is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and engineer AI-enabled litigation workflows across firm-approved platforms.
  • Design, build, test, and deploy AI workflows, agents, and skills for litigation use cases.
  • Develop and maintain prompt libraries, retrieval pipelines, templates, and decision trees.
  • Translate practice requirements into technical specifications and workflow logic.
  • Use low-code tools and integrations to extend platforms and connect AI workflows to firm systems.
  • Test, evaluate, and harden solutions with governance, guardrails, and risk controls.
  • Deploy, maintain, and scale workflows with adoption resources and training.
  • Collaborate with AI Innovation Attorneys, Knowledge Management, Security, and vendors to deliver reliable solutions.
