Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Legal Operations Technology Specialist based in San Mateo, CA to drive operational excellence by implementing AI-enabled tools for legal workflows, managing budgets, and overseeing outside counsel processes. You will lead pilots, train the team, and develop SOPs to balance automation with lawyer review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of combined legal operations, data analytics, technology implementation
• Experience with legal tech operations, e-billing tools and vendor management
• Working knowledge of AI solutions in professional settings; familiarity with generative AI
• Experience evaluating or implementing legal technology tools (contract lifecycle management, legal research, document automation, e-discovery)
• Ability to assess AI tools for fit, risk, and ROI
• Track record of driving technology adoption and creating training materials

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement technologies for process optimization, focusing on AI in legal workflows
• Evaluate AI-powered legal tools for fit and ROI
• Lead AI tool pilots and measure impact on productivity and cost savings
• Train team on new tools and establish automation-with-review protocols
• Document workflows and create standard operating procedures
• Oversee e-billing management, including system administration and invoices reconciliation
• Manage outside counsel onboarding, billing, evaluation, and optimization
• Develop budgets analytics, forecasting and spend tracking
• Coordinate L&A Team events and training programs
