Job summary

Profound is hiring a Marketing Engineer to join the Marketing team in our on-site New York or San Francisco office. You'll build the systems that power Profound's demand generation engine, driving engagement, converting buyers, and scaling relationships using AI.

This role goes beyond traditional growth marketing, integrating ABM, lifecycle, and performance channels with AI-driven agents. You’ll design and deploy agents, workflows, and automation that reduce manual work, optimize funnel

Qualifications

• 5+ years in growth marketing, demand generation, or marketing engineering.
• Experience using SQL and Python to build automations.
• Hands-on experience shipping AI agents and LLM-powered tooling.
• You have owned performance marketing channels and lifecycle programs in the past.

Responsibilities

• Build demand systems on top of marketing channels and act on what you see.
• Close funnel gaps by scoring, routing, and handing leads to Sales so nothing sits waiting on a human.
• Build agents, workflows, and internal tooling that automate the marketing stack and scale across segments.
• Build the model behind ABM with a proprietary intent model and support 1:1 and 1:many campaigns.
• Drive adoption and expansion by building lifecycle systems that onboard customers and enable expansion.
• Run disciplined experiments and codify successful patterns into repeatable systems.
