Job summary

CFS is seeking a Credit Analyst in Belle Vernon, PA (Hybrid) to assess customer financials, set credit terms, and monitor accounts receivable. You will leverage AI-enabled solutions to enhance analysis and efficiency, establishing credit limits and payment terms based on risk assessment.

You will collaborate with Sales and customers to obtain credit support, track delinquency, and prepare monthly reports detailing portfolio performance and bad debt reserves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Approximately two or more years of experience in credit analysis, financial statement analysis, accounts receivable, collections, or related area.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment, and customer financial performance.
• Experience with credit security instruments and documentation; familiarity with bankruptcy laws and processes.
• Proven ability to manage delinquent accounts and support collections strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or accounting systems preferred.
• Ability to learn and utilize credit management platforms, AI-enabled tools, and other business technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer financial statements and performance to support credit decisions, leveraging AI-enabled solutions.
• Establish and recommend customer credit limits and payment terms based on analysis and risk.
• Monitor accounts receivable portfolios and manage delinquent balances to meet targets.
• Collaborate with Sales and customers to obtain credit support such as letters of credit and guarantees.
• Track payment trends, identify risks, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support consistent use of credit application platform across divisions and coordinate with platform provider.
• Prepare monthly credit reports, portfolio metrics, bad debt reserve reviews, and departmental efficiency reporting.
• Assist Credit Manager with supplier credit limit monitoring and communication with supplier credits.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve order-to-cash issues and ensure timely transactions.
• Apply credit policies consistently while balancing risk with business needs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement AI-based solutions and technology enhancements.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and internal partners and provide backup support.
