Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking a seasoned platform engineer to own and run the internal platform, including infrastructure, internal tools, IT operations, and the people who maintain them. You will architect and manage every AI workflow, tool, and agent across ventures inside the group.

You’ll lead three direct reports today and grow the team as ventures demand. The role emphasizes AI-native operations and hands-on coding across a modern tech stack.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in DevOps/platform engineering with hands-on coding.
• Managed small teams (2-5) without losing yourself in the work.
• Excellent organization; maintains SOPs, runbooks, and docs up-to-date.
• Strong cross-functional communication; translates problems into specs.
• Experience using AI coding tools and integrating AI into daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure: Proxmox clusters, AWS workloads, self-hosted services.
• Own internal apps, dashboards, and automation tools for ventures.
• Define and ship AI workflows across the group; partner with each venture.
• Oversee IT operations and ensure reliability for ~150 users.
• Translate stakeholder problems into actionable technical specs.
