Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Director of Project & Program Management to lead the AI Solutions portfolio. You’ll coach delivery leaders, align with US claims operations, and ensure strategic execution across multiple Agile squads.

In this role you’ll translate complex tech into business updates, manage risk and compliance for sensitive data, and drive improvements in delivery metrics while collaborating with executives and vendors.

Qualifications

• Requires a University Degree and 7+ years of project and program management experience.
• Experience leading teams from waterfall to Agile and scaling multiple squads.
• Experience coaching and developing project managers or delivery leaders.
• Working knowledge of insurance operations (TPA or carrier) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of the AI Solutions and enterprise technology portfolio across multiple programs.
• Partner in scaling delivery squads from four to eight cross-functional teams.
• Establish and run the delivery operating rhythm: intake, prioritization, budget, cadence, governance.
• Coach and develop PMs, set standards, and drive results.
• Translate technical scope for leaders and business needs for technical teams.
• Present portfolio status, risks, financials, and decisions to ELT.
• Collaborate with claims ops, product, architecture, security and vendors.
• Maintain oversight of sensitive data programs to manage risk and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery metrics like predictability and cycle time.
