Job summary

BetterMe is seeking an experienced Software/Platform Engineer to build AI agents that automate engineering tasks across the SDLC, including coding, testing, code review, and CI/CD. You’ll own quality, safety, and guardrails before production while scaling AI automation across teams.

You will evolve the Internal Developer Platform using Backstage, Port, or similar tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams in the United States. A strong platform mindset and DevOps experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software/Platform engineering or DevOps.
• 1+ year building AI agents.
• Hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD.
• Platform-as-a-product mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents that automate engineering tasks across the SDLC.
• Build quality and safety mechanisms with tracing, evaluation suites, and guardrails before production.
• Scale AI automation across teams through documentation, onboarding, and measurable adoption.
