Job summary

Caylent, a fully remote AI-first cloud services company, seeks a backend/GenAI engineer to join our Builders team. You will build and extend Caylent’s internal AI-native platform, leveraging Python, Terraform, React/Vite, and AWS Bedrock to automate processes and deliver value to internal stakeholders.

You’ll collaborate across departments, mentor peers, and influence how the business operates by shipping scalable and reliable cloud-native tools.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Generative AI solutions. Build at least one end-to-end AI feature.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Experience deploying and managing services in a cloud-native environment.
• Frontend development experience with React/Vite for building user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design backend services with Python and Terraform.
• Develop GenAI/agentic solutions on AWS Bedrock as part of the platform.
• Contribute to React/Vite frontend interfaces for the tools you help build.
• Optimize cloud-native apps for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Enhance services to align with business objectives and best practices.
