Job summary

Cognizant seeks an Associate Director – AI/Gen AI Platform (Remote) to lead enterprise AI architecture across platforms and services. Define strategy, governance, and scalable GenAI solutions delivering measurable business value.

You will architect cloud-native AI platforms, guide PoCs, mentor teams, and partner with executives, delivery leaders, and pre‑sales to accelerate adoption and client outcomes. Strong background in AWS/Azure/GCP, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and API ecosystems is

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Enterprise/Solution Architecture or technology consulting.
• Proven delivery of enterprise AI, cloud, and digital transformation programs.
• Expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI governance.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing microservices, APIs, Kubernetes, and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI architecture strategy, roadmaps, standards and governance.
• Architect scalable GenAI and agentic AI solutions across large environments.
• Design AI platforms with LLMs, RAG, vector stores, APIs and cloud services.
• Lead PoCs and prototypes to validate business use cases and value.
• Establish responsible AI practices and production readiness criteria.
• Drive cloud-native adoption across AWS, Azure, GCP; integrate with enterprise systems.
• Mentor architects and engineers; support pre‑sales and strategy workshops.
