Job summary

G-P, a remote-first, global employment platform, seeks an experienced software engineer to design and build a cloud-native platform. You will work across the stack, from prototypes to production-grade features, using AI-first approaches and modern Agile practices.

The role emphasizes scalable backend systems and distributed architectures in a global team. Candidates should have 8+ years of backend experience and a proven track record delivering enterprise-grade services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in scalable enterprise services and platforms.
• Experience building large-scale distributed applications.
• Knowledge of backend stack: Node.js, Java, Python, Redis, Golang.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of cloud architectures; AWS experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Startup or high-growth environment experience desirable.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, CRM integrations, 3rd party integrations, AI in production (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Use an AI native/first approach through the SDLC.
• Turn ideas into prototypes and production-grade code.
• Design and develop a cloud platform, building frameworks and services.
• Develop solutions for a cloud-managed, serverless-first ecosystem.
• Build prototypes then production features.
• Advocate modern Agile methodologies and Well-Architected Framework.
• Promote quality and scalability mindset in software development.
• Diagnose and fix issues reported by internal teams and customers.
• Develop and promote full test suites and quality mindset.
• Coach and support software engineers.
