Ahtna Inc. is seeking a Paralegal & Legal Compliance Specialist - AI to support the General Counsel in researching law, preparing documents, and ensuring corporate compliance across entities.

The role leads inquiries, drafts, and notarial tasks within a dynamic legal environment, based in Anchorage, AK. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) with a 3% match, PTO, and holidays, with a strong emphasis on regulatory diligence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any subject; or an Associate degree in any subject and a paralegal certificate
• Five years of experience as a paralegal
• Five years of experience in legal compliance
• Registration as a Notary for the State of Alaska

Responsabilités

• Maintains corporate books and legal files for the Ahtna Family of Companies.
• Manages Service of Process and state compliance filings.
• Drafts and files articles of incorporation, bylaws, and operating agreements.
• Researches statutes, decisions, and legal codes under attorney guidance.
• Provides notarial services to the company and shareholders.
