Ahtna is seeking a Paralegal & Legal Compliance Specialist in Alaska under the General Counsel to research law, prepare documents, and oversee corporate compliance for the Ahtna Family of Companies.

The role includes forming Alaska entities, managing filings, notary services, and ensuring reporting obligations nationwide and internationally; a strong legal research and document drafting background is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or an Associate degree plus a paralegal certificate.
Five years of paralegal experience.
Five years of experience in legal compliance.
Notary public registration for Alaska.

Responsibilities

Maintains corporate books, records, and files for the Ahtna family of companies.
Manages service of process and state filings, including annual reports.
Researches and analyzes laws under attorney supervision.
Drafts articles, bylaws, operating agreements, stock certificates, and other documents.
Provides notarial services to the company and shareholders.
Form new Alaska entities and oversee related licenses and registrations.
