Dell Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer 2 to resolve AI Networking issues for enterprise customers across Cloud, Datacenter, and Edge environments. You will work with global clients, coordinate with Engineering and Backline teams, and contribute to product quality through bug reporting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, troubleshooting, and networking expertise, with multiple sites including Round Rock, Texas or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in integrating/troubleshooting servers, storage, and networking in datacenter environments.
• Extensive knowledge of Networking AI Solutions – Datacenter and Edge, Cloud, Open Networking, SD-WAN, and Linux fundamentals.
• Expertise in core networking technologies: L2, Spanning Tree, Port Channels, AAA, L3 concepts, routing protocols; familiarity with BGP, VXLAN, EVPN.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to set priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise customer-reported issues from various intake models and drive resolution with customers and stakeholders.
• Document all technical information throughout the life cycle and communicate progress to the customer.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Engineering, Backline, and LoBs during resolution.
• Contribute to hardware and software quality by reporting bugs to Backline teams.
• Maintain high customer respect and ensure quality closures following defined processes.
