Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Technical Support Engineer 2 to resolve AI Networking solutions for global enterprise customers. You will handle issues in Cloud, Datacenter, and Edge Networking, collaborating with Engineering and Backline teams for fast resolutions.

The role emphasizes documentation, timely customer communication, and quality enhancements through bug reporting. Location options include Round Rock, TX or Oklahoma City, OK. Strong Linux/networking fundamentals are essential.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience integrating and troubleshooting a broad range of technologies in datacenter environments.
Extensive knowledge of Networking AI Solutions – Datacenter and Edge, cloud, SD-WAN, and Linux fundamentals.
Core networking technologies: Layer-2/Layer-3, Spanning Tree, Port Channels, AAA, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN.
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills with ability to prioritize in challenging situations.
Experience in highly technical, enterprise customer environments.

Responsibilities

Own enterprise customer-reported issues from intake to resolution.
Document all relevant technical information and communicate progress to customers.
Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Backline, LoBs) during resolution.
Report bugs to Backline teams to improve HW/SW quality.
Maintain customer respect and drive operational excellence through quality closures.
