Job summary

Dell Technologies is hiring a Technical Support Engineer 2 to join the Solutions Support team in Round Rock, Texas, and surrounding areas. You will resolve AI Networking issues for global enterprise customers across cloud, data center and edge environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, high-quality resolutions.

The role requires strong networking knowledge, Linux fundamentals, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Experience with Networking AI Solutions in datacenter and edge environments.
Hands-on knowledge of servers, storage and networking in large-scale deployments.
Familiarity with Linux fundamentals and cloud concepts.
Strong understanding of Layer-2/Layer-3 technologies, routing protocols, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN.
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills in enterprise settings.

Responsibilities

Own enterprise customer-reported issues from intake to resolution.
Document technical information throughout the life cycle and communicate progress.
Coordinate with engineering, backline teams and other lines of business during resolution.
Report bugs to backline teams to improve HW/SW quality.
Maintain professional customer interactions and follow company processes.
