Job summary

Utility Profit seeks an AI-native Product Lead to own a key product area from discovery to measurable business outcomes. You will talk with customers, define strategy, and lead a small pod of engineers to build prototypes and working software using AI tools.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales, and customers to craft end-to-end experiences, prioritize ruthlessly, and demonstrate impact with data and customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Own a meaningful product area from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Speak with customers, identify problems beneath requested features, and translate feedback into product insights.
• Build prototypes, automations, and internal tools using AI-assisted coding and design tools.
• Lead a small product pod and collaborate with engineering, design, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Customer Discovery: own a meaningful customer or business problem and understand users and operators affected by your product area.
• Define strategy, goals, and priorities for your product area and translate into focused objectives.
• Explain what to build, why it matters, how success is measured, and what not to pursue.
• Use data, customer evidence, and technical understanding to guide decisions.
• Build with AI: use AI-assisted coding and prototyping to turn ideas into working software.
• Design the full product experience including workflows, edge cases, error states, and trust.
