Job summary

Knit is hiring a Lead Product Manager to redefine customer understanding in an AI-native world. You will own a meaningful product surface end-to-end, partner with senior leaders, and ship in two-week cycles while shaping strategy and customer value.

You will work with PhD-level researchers and engineering leads, drive AI-first decisions, and influence the roadmap beyond your surface. Strong autonomy and senior leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a product manager at a company with strong product culture.
• Experience taking a product from zero to meaningful usage in early-stage environments.
• Fluency in AI-native product decisions, evals, latency/cost tradeoffs, and failure-mode design.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for senior-level collaboration.
• Ability to discuss architecture and constraints with senior engineers.
• Proven ability to influence roadmap direction beyond own surface.

Responsibilities

• Own a meaningful product surface end-to-end from discovery to adoption.
• Build direct customer intuition by engaging with Fortune 1000 buyers and researchers.
• Make AI-native product decisions including evals and reliability.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Research, and GTM to align priorities and tradeoffs.
• Contribute to company-level decisions and roadmaps with evidence and judgment.
