Accelerant is seeking a Product Designer to join the Agentic MGA squad. This role goes beyond visuals, shaping what is worth building and how it should work, by collaborating with Product and Engineering from early discovery to working prototypes.

You will help design AI-native workflows for brokers and underwriters, decide what AI should handle, and create experiences where AI assists but humans remain in control.

Qualifications

• Strong product design craft with product judgment.
• Able to navigate ambiguous problems and drive teams forward.
• Experience with complex professional workflows (insurance/financial services ideal).
• Underwriting, broker platforms, quoting or risk-workflows knowledge is valuable.

Responsabilités

• Frame problems with Product and Engineering to decide what is worth building.
• Work with brokers and underwriters to understand workflows and friction.
• Design broker and underwriter workflows across submission, review, decision, and state changes.
• Turn dense risk data into clear, usable experiences.
• Define AI versus human division of labor and how AI communicates confidence.
• Prototype with AI coding tools and test with real users.
• Contribute to an AI-native design system and stay hands-on through discovery to delivery.
