Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a designer to shape product experiences that leverage advanced AI. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to ship interfaces that feel native to AI and earn user trust. The role combines craft, research, and product intuition, with rapid prototyping and attention to edge cases.

You will iterate on patterns, collaborate across teams, and push for detail from pixels to copy while shipping quickly in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code as a creative partner in your own design practice.
• Experience designing and shipping complex workflows for enterprise/B2B SaaS, developer tools, or API products.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers and other stakeholders to define product vision, strategy and roadmaps, and shipping.
• Understand the technical architecture of our products and define primitives for new capabilities.
• Define feature areas with attention to detail and polish, improving quality and consistency of broader flows
• Craft beautiful, polished user interfaces that build trust and showcase AI technology
• Comfortable in code, design, prototypes, and learning to communicate ideas
• Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced startup environment
