Job summary

Amazon Leo in Bellevue, WA is seeking an HR Specialist to own the programmatic onboarding of Leo into people systems and mechanisms. You will translate business requirements into configured HR processes, stand up AI-native workflows, and partner with central teams to ensure Leo's hourly and corporate populations are reflected in the same platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Program Management, Human Resources, Employment Law, Computer Science, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research or related field.
• 7+ years of HR, talent acquisition, management consulting, or project/program management experience.
• Experience translating ambiguous, high-stakes business needs into structured requirements and action plans.
• Experience building or configuring HR systems, content, or listening mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Own the People Systems and Mechanisms Portfolio End-to-End. Build, shape, and onboard Leo onto its people systems and mechanisms; manage intake and resource allocation; partner with Leo HRBP for central efforts like compensation and time systems.
• Build and Onboard Listening and Sensing Mechanisms. Stand up mechanisms giving leaders real-time read on workforce sentiment and culture risk; ensure signal accuracy and self-serve accessibility.
• Build AI-Native Mechanisms. Integrate AI into core mechanisms; set standards for AI-enabled workflows across LEAD with maintained human judgment.
• Configure Content and Policy Across Central Platforms. Ensure Leo-specific content/policy is correctly placed and remove non-applicable items to unlock HRPs and managers.
• Ensure the Mixed Workforce Is Correctly Represented. Lock in survey questions for hourly and corporate populations; codify durable definitions for HRP roles.
• Own Portfolio Health and Surface Systemic Risk Early. Build metrics/status mechanisms; identify vulnerabilities and drive resolution through owner teams.
• Lead Change Management and Write Strategic Narratives. Roll out solutions with business/HRP team; develop scalable intake/change standards; contribute to PR/FAQs and inputs for OP1/OP2.
• Extend Programmatic Capabilities Across LEAD. Scale work across LEAD lines; align hourly and corporate needs; roll out shared tools.
• Contribute to Initiatives Beyond the Core Portfolio. Take on programmatic work including acquisitions and site buildouts; sequence mechanisms for operations.
