Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer, AI-Native to design, build, test, and maintain full-stack features for legal and financial workflows. You will work with C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and React or Angular, while leveraging AI-assisted tools with strong security and architectural discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL and Entity Framework Core.
• Working knowledge of React or Angular.
• Experience with Git-based source control, pull requests, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Agile delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and LLMs, such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or Azure OpenAI.
• Ability to write and refine structured, context-rich prompts.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, security, architecture, and coding-standard alignment.
• Foundational understanding of agentic development workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and attention to detail.
• Experience building both front-end and back-end features across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience supporting production applications.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Exposure to AI-driven code generation and test scaffolding at scale.
• Experience partnering with offshore engineers.
• Familiarity with security-conscious code review.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Quality Engineering, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack features using C#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, SQL Server or Azure SQL, and React or Angular.
• Write maintainable code supported by unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate constructive feedback.
• Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and documentation.
• Review all AI-generated output for correctness, security, quality, and architectural alignment.
• Make sound technical and architectural decisions within an agentic engineering model.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality Engineering, business stakeholders, and engineering peers.
• Partner with offshore developers to scope assignments, review code, and maintain consistent quality standards.
