Job summary

Banyan Software seeks an Enterprise Architect to lead the current-state and target-state architecture for Banyan HQ. You will define roadmaps, standards, and integration patterns to scale a fast-growing, acquisition-driven organization while embedding AI into systems from the start.

You will own AI infrastructure, governance, and data foundations, partnering with security and legal to drive guardrails and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or solution architecture.
• Experience crafting current-state and target-state architectures and transition roadmaps.
• Experience architecting for enterprise AI adoption (LLM platforms and APIs).
• Knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, or similar; certification preferred.
• Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) expertise.
• Identity & integration platforms (Okta, iPaaS, ERP/CRM like NetSuite/Salesforce).
• Strong business communication with executive leadership.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain current-state and target-state architecture for Banyan HQ.
• Build roadmaps and standards aligning tech investment with business goals.
• Design and govern integrations across core stack (Microsoft 365, Okta, NetSuite, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom).
• Partner on security, zero-trust, MDM, Zscaler, and endpoint security decisions.
• Make AI-native design a core architectural principle across systems and data platforms.
• Own AI infrastructure architecture including model access, MCP, connectors, and cost controls.
• Collaborate on data foundations for AI with consolidated data platforms.
• Design agent-ready workflows with human-in-the-loop checkpoints and auditability.
• Define AI governance and guardrails with Security and Legal teams.
• Turn successful pilots into reusable patterns and enablement infrastructure.
• Contribute to enterprise technology strategy and communicate value to executives.
• Mentor IT staff on architecture thinking and AI fluency.
