SHI International Corp. seeks a Software Engineer - AI/ML to design, implement, and maintain software across cross-functional teams. You will develop new features, resolve complex issues, and support CI/CD processes to ensure code quality, stability, and security.

The role reports to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ location on a hybrid basis. Required are 5+ years of software engineering, Python/SQL/JavaScript proficiency, and hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and JavaScript with strong debugging skills.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated testing (TDD).
• Hands-on with AWS or Azure and modern CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain software.
• Develop features, fix complex issues, and ensure code quality with CI/CD.
• Create technical docs and participate in code reviews and testing.
• Support deployment pipelines and monitor performance in cloud environments.
