Job summary

Aon is seeking a Data and AI Forward Deployed Engineer to collaboratively translate client requirements into scalable AI/ML deployment solutions. You will design data pipelines on AWS, integrate AI/ML within enterprise systems, and apply MBSE and Agile practices to deliver robust data products.

You will lead cross-functional work with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and reliable performance. Hybrid/remote options in the US available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, a related quantitative field, or equivalent years of industry experience.
• Proven experience with Agile Methodology in a professional environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and AI/ML development.
• Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and managing cloud-based services and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cloud Computing and Cloud Based Services, particularly in the context of data and AI applications.
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including System Designs, Systems Architecture, and System Integration.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a plus.
• Proven ability in Automation Technology for deployment and operational tasks.
• Strong Project Management skills with experience in managing complex technical projects.
• Experience with Requirements Management and defining technical specifications.
• Understanding of Risk Management principles, especially in the context of technology deployment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications for AI/ML deployment.
• Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines and AI/ML model deployment strategies using AWS.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing enterprise systems with seamless data flow.
• Apply Agile methodologies for project execution with iterative development of AI/ML products.
• Apply Systems Engineering and MBSE principles to ensure system design, architecture, and documentation.
• Develop and implement automation technologies for CI/CD of AI/ML models and data products.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risks with strong PM and risk management practices.
• Conduct thorough requirements management to ensure solutions meet business needs and specs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system designs, architectures, and procedures.
• Provide technical expertise and client support for deployed AI/ML solutions.
