Job summary

Aon plc seeks a Data and AI Forward Deployed Engineer to design and deploy AI/ML solutions in a hybrid US-based setting. You will collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable cloud-based pipelines.

The role emphasizes AWS deployment, MBSE-influenced system design, and CI/CD automation, with agile project execution and strong risk management to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Proven experience with Agile Methodology in a professional environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and AI/ML development.
• Extensive experience with AWS for deploying and managing cloud-based services and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cloud Computing and Cloud Based Services for data and AI applications.
• Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including system designs, architecture, and integration.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a plus.
• Proven ability in Automation Technology for deployment and operational tasks.
• Strong Project Management skills with experience managing complex technical projects.
• Experience with Requirements Management and defining technical specifications.
• Understanding of Risk Management principles in tech deployment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs for AI/ML deployment.
• Design, develop, and implement robust data pipelines and AI/ML model deployment strategies using AWS.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into existing enterprise systems with seamless data flow.
• Apply Agile methodologies for project execution and iterative development of AI/ML products.
• Apply MBSE principles to ensure complete system design and documentation.
• Develop and implement CI/CD automation for AI/ML models and data products.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and risks with strong project-management practices.
• Conduct requirements management to ensure alignment with business needs and technical specs.
• Maintain clear documentation of system designs, architectures, and procedures.
• Provide technical expertise to clients on deployed AI/ML solutions and troubleshoot issues.
