Job summary

Google Cloud seeks a Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales and customers, differentiating Google Cloud with AI/ML expertise and cloud solution design. You will help customers understand business value, develop creative cloud architectures, and lead proofs of concepts across diverse industries.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to translate requirements into practical deployments while traveling to customer sites as needed to drive adoption and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities; understand objections; develop strategies to resolve blockers.
• Share AI/ML expertise to support technical relationships; participate in proofs of concept and briefings.
• Work with Google Cloud products to demonstrate integrations in customer environments.
• Recommend integration strategies and architectures for complete cloud solutions.
• Travel to customer sites and events as required, representing Google Cloud publicly.
