Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer to partner with Sales and Technical teams, delivering AI/ML solutions and cloud architectures that meet customer needs across industries. You will translate complex requirements into practical Google Cloud deployments and demonstrate value through proofs of concept.

The role involves presenting to executives, guiding customers through technical choices, and traveling to customer sites and events.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify business opportunities; understand technical objections and resolve blockers.
Share in-depth AI/ML expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including proofs of concepts.
Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer environments.
Recommend enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure for Google Cloud solutions.
Travel to customer sites and events as required, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
