Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media on a fully remote, flexible schedule. You will participate in live conversations with AI voice models, compare AI-generated media against prompts, and explain onscreen issues in writing.

Responsibilities include ranking outputs for naturalness and accuracy, evaluating images and videos, and providing concise, evidence-based explanations in English.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something is off.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic situations naturally.
• Experience writing brief, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Currently accepting applicants from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio that doesn't match the video.
• Rating each output across dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism, then writing a specific explanation in English that points to what you saw or heard.
