Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare AI-generated images and videos, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off. This remote role offers flexible hours and weekly payments.

Pay starts at up to $18 USD/hr, with additional incentives. You can work from home or while traveling, and will contribute to improving how AI systems reason and perform in real-world tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfort with natural conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Ability to think on your feet and explain decisions in a natural, conversational way.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely (zooming in, replaying) to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Rating outputs on adherence, quality, and realism and writing a concise English explanation of what was observed.
