Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to evaluate AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges for naturalness and usefulness, and explain what looked off in writing.

Work remotely on a flexible schedule, contributing to improvements in AI systems. Contributors review images, videos, and audio alongside prompts, performing evaluations from home.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication and comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to look and listen closely, and to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Comfortable making a clear decision when both options have flaws.
• Currently accepting applicants from: Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States

Responsibilities

• Hold live conversations with AI voice models in English and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos to judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely for issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, text errors, and audio-video mismatch.
• Write a concise English explanation pointing to observed issues.
