Job summary

RWS is seeking AI Linguistic Evaluators to assess Tamil-language performance of an AI application for a short collaboration. This remote freelance role starts immediately and offers flexible work on a short-term basis.

You will interact with an AI assistant in Tamil, translate prompts from English, and evaluate AI responses for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance according to project guidelines.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Tamil (Tamil India).
• Strong English skills for project instructions.
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of language-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with an AI assistant in Tamil and English prompts.

What You’ll Do:

• Providing structured evaluations and feedback following the project instructions and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Native-level fluency in Tamil (India)
• Excellent command of grammar, spelling, linguistic nuances, and cultural context of the target language
• Ability to accurately translate prompts from English into the target language
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field, or
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in language-related work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines
• Ability to independently evaluate AI-generated content and provide consistent quality assessments
• Comfortable working with structured evaluation criteria and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, objective feedback
