Job summary

RWS TrainAI is seeking AI Linguistic Evaluators to assess Tamil content for an upcoming collaboration. You will work remotely from the United States, evaluating AI-generated prompts and responses for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.

Ideal candidates are native Tamil speakers with strong English, a degree in linguistics or related fields, and at least five years in language-related work. Flexible schedule, immediate start, and around 10–15 hours total.

What You'll Do:

• Interacting with an AI assistant in your target language.
• Translating provided prompts from English into your target language and using them to interact with the AI application.
• Evaluating the quality of AI-generated responses according to project guidelines.
• Assessing localization quality, including linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and cultural appropriateness.
• Providing structured evaluations and feedback following the project instructions and quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Native-level fluency in Tamil (India)
• Excellent command of grammar, spelling, linguistic nuances, and cultural context of the target language
• Ability to accurately translate prompts from Englishinto the target language
• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Languages, Philology, Literature, or a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience; or
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in language-related work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed guidelines
• Ability to independently evaluate AI-generated content and provide consistent quality assessments
• Comfortable working with structured evaluation criteria and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, objective feedback
