Job summary

Duke University School of Medicine, Office of Data Science and AI, invites applications for an AI Learning Facilitator to advance the Work Better with AI initiative. You will guide faculty and staff in using Microsoft Copilot and approved AI tools through engaging, practical learning experiences.

This grant-funded term role emphasizes inclusive instruction, virtual/in-person/hybrid formats, and clear, actionable guidance for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or related field.
• Two years of experience delivering training and supporting learning technologies.
• Experience with artificial intelligence tools, digital learning programs, or workforce development preferred.
• Ability to facilitate engaging learning experiences in virtual, in-person, and hybrid formats.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Work Better With AI Academy sessions, including instructor-led sessions and office hours.
• Prepare sessions by reviewing curriculum, materials, and demonstrations.
• Create an inclusive, engaging learning environment for participants with varied backgrounds.
• Translate AI concepts into clear guidance for diverse audiences.
• Develop educational content and learning assets for synchronous and asynchronous formats.
• Diagnose and resolve learner issues; escalate as needed.
• Observe engagement and recommend curriculum improvements.
• Maintain program records and contribute to reports on participation and milestones.
• Support related AI learning initiatives as capacity allows.
