Alignerr is seeking Chinese language experts to evaluate and improve AI training data for Chinese learning and instruction. You will apply your linguistic expertise to shape how AI understands and assesses learner language, with real impact on students worldwide.

This remote, hourly-contract role offers at least 15 hours per week and flexible scheduling. You will provide feedback on speech and writing, collaborate asynchronously with leads, and help ensure quality and reliability across AI

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Chinese.
• Experience teaching Chinese or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2).
• Familiar with CEFR frameworks.
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate AI-generated Chinese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps using expert judgment.
• Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction.
