Job summary

Zyte is hiring an Integrations Engineer to build and publish integrations, including MCP-based setups, a Zyte CLI, and framework packages. You’ll document and track usage, helping developers adopt Zyte's tools globally.

You’ll work in a distributed, remote-first team, using Python and TypeScript, with focus on open-source and developer relations. This role emphasizes fast iteration and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and TypeScript/Node.js skills; publish packages in both ecosystems.
• Experience building SDKs, client libraries, CLIs or third-party integrations.
• Hands-on use of coding agents and AI tooling; familiarity with MCP or similar interfaces.
• Experience publishing and maintaining packages (PyPI, npm), incl. CI/CD, tests and releases.
• Good REST APIs and authentication; keep credentials secure in client/server setups.
• Outcome-focused mindset; use data to decide what to improve.
• Clear writing in English; documentation and examples are core to the role.

Responsibilities

• Build and publish integrations for coding-agent environments (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Docker).
• Design, build and release the Zyte CLI as a shared base for integrations, published to PyPI and npm.
• Maintain packages and tools for developer frameworks and agent SDKs (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Deliver recurring data delivery into customers’ cloud platforms (AWS, GCS, BigQuery).
• Assess apps and automation platforms; prototype integrations to drive repeat Zyte use.
• Provide early estimates of feasibility, effort, and upkeep for integrations.
• Add tracking so signups and usage can be traced to each integration.
• Write setup guides, examples and docs for docs.zyte.com and public repos.
• Prepare submissions to partner directories and marketplaces; respond to reviews.
• Maintain live integrations; adapt to changes and manage releases/versioning.
• Work with Product, Product Marketing and Developer Relations on launches and support.
• Coordinate with SaaS/Platform teams to keep Zyte API and Scrapy Cloud stable.
• Participate in code reviews, planning and squad routines.
