Zipline is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own the architectural direction of the integrations platform. You will shape the roadmap across teams, build production software, and enable engineers to deliver partner API integrations with frontend and backend SDKs.

You’ll drive reusable connector patterns, development environments, and automated quality checks to scale partnerships. Your work accelerates enterprise deals by simplifying integration with Zipline and delivering reliable delivery

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production backend or distributed systems with ownership across services and teams.
• Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or internal tooling used by engineers to ship production software.
• Strong API design, data modeling, asynchronous workflows, and testable contracts.

Responsabilités

• Enable partner experiences by building frontend and backend SDKs and tooling to deliver API integrations quickly and reliably.
• Define platform architecture with clear interfaces and compatibility practices for connectors and core services.
• Create sandbox environments, simulators, and automated tests to enable independent integration development.
• Establish automated release checks and acceptance criteria to ensure reliability before production.
• Develop documentation and onboarding workflows to reduce ramp time for integrations.
• Lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and track SDK adoption to guide platform investments.
• Translate enterprise requirements into a platform roadmap and coordinate with Product, Commercial and Engineering teams.
