Job summary

SearchApi is seeking an AI Integrations Engineer (Open Source) to ship real integrations and contribute merged PRs to open-source ecosystems. You will work across Ruby, Python, and TypeScript/Node, building MCP servers and docs that developers can drop into their stacks.

You’ll contribute to LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, n8n, Make, Zapier, and related tooling, staying current with the agent ecosystem and choosing high-impact projects.

Qualifications

Merged open-source contributions in repos you don't own.
An integration, library, or MCP server you shipped that other people use.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Comfortable in Ruby, Python, or TypeScript, and at least one agent or automation framework.

Responsibilities

Ship merged PRs and improve SearchApi support in frameworks used by developers.
Build integrations and MCP servers for easy data pulling into stacks.
Write example apps, integration guides, and quickstarts that work out of the box.
Stay current with agent/automation trends and move when it matters.
Identify gaps where developers need search data and lead with solutions.
