Zyte is hiring an Integrations Engineer to build and publish integrations, including MCP-based setups, a Zyte CLI, and framework packages. You’ll document and track usage, helping developers adopt Zyte's tools globally.
You’ll work in a distributed, remote-first team, using Python and TypeScript, with focus on open-source and developer relations. This role emphasizes fast iteration and quality documentation.
At Zyte, we eat data for breakfast and you can eat your breakfast anywhere and work for Zyte. Founded in 2010, we are a globally distributed team of over 250 Zytans working from over 28 countries who are on a mission to enable our customers to extract the data they need to continue to innovate and grow their businesses. We believe that all businesses deserve a smooth pathway to data.
For more than a decade, Zyte has led the way in building powerful, easy-to-use tools to collect, format, and deliver web data, quickly, dependably, and at scale. And today, the data we extract helps thousands of organizations make smarter business decisions, secure competitive advantage, and drive sustainable growth. Today, over 3,000 companies and 1 million developers rely on our tools and services to get the data they need from the web.
The Integration Squad helps developers and data teams find, adopt and keep using Zyte for web data. We focus on coding agents and agent-based workflows. We make Zyte API and Scrapy Cloud easy to reach from the tools people already use: coding agents like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor; frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex; cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud; and later, automation and app-building tools. We measure success by how many customers use Zyte through these integrations, not by how many integrations we publish.
We’re hiring an Integrations Engineer to help build this program from the start. You’ll build and publish integrations, including MCP-based setups, a Zyte command-line tool (CLI), framework packages and data-delivery connectors. You’ll also write the documentation that lets developers and their agents use them without help, and the tracking that shows whether they work.
We employ agile methodologies and work in cross-functional pods, which lets us respond quickly to both community feedback and internal product needs.
Strong Python skills and solid TypeScript/Node.js. You’ll publish packages in both ecosystems.
Experience building SDKs, client libraries, CLIs, plugins or third-party integrations used by outside developers.
Hands-on use of coding agents and AI tooling (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex), and familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-calling interfaces.
Experience publishing and maintaining packages (PyPI, npm), including versioning, CI/CD, tests and releases.
Good working knowledge of REST APIs and authentication, including keeping credentials secure in client and server setups.
An outcome-focused mindset: you care whether developers adopt and keep using what you ship, and you use data to decide what to improve.
Clear writing in English. Documentation and examples are a core part of the job.
Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage scoping in a new squad.
Experience in a distributed, remote-first team is a strong plus.
Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex or agent SDKs is a plus.
Experience with AWS or GCP data services (S3, Cloud Storage, BigQuery) or Snowflake is a plus.
Familiarity with web scraping, Scrapy or browser automation (Playwright, Selenium) is a plus, but not required.
Open-source maintenance or Developer Relations experience is a plus.
As a new Zytan, you will:
