Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• 5+ years in Software Engineering with Python backend focus; Bachelors; or 3 years with Masters; or 9 years with HS diploma.
• Hybrid work requirement: 1–2 days/week at Columbia, MD office.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based components for the agentic platform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Build MCP servers and reusable AI skills for safe interactions with internal systems.
• Collaborate with teams to expose Java-based APIs to AI agents.
• Implement enterprise AI guardrails for privacy, scrubbing, and prompt safety.
• Maintain testing pipelines for non-deterministic AI outputs.
• Handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
