Job summary

Fisher Phillips in Atlanta is seeking a hands-on Director to lead The Innovation Pipeline, driving AI solutions and emerging technologies across the firm. You will turn ambiguous ideas into focused experiments, prototype directly, and guide the team through rapid delivery cycles.

The role requires strong product judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to earn trust with attorneys and business leaders while working in a hybrid Atlanta environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technology products from discovery through user testing.
• Portfolio of working AI prototypes or applications and ability to review solutions.
• Ability to lead a small delivery team and collaborate with attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Own idea intake and prioritized pipeline with business value, feasibility, data readiness, effort, and fit with firm priorities.
• Translate ideas into project briefs covering user problem, sponsor, scope, expected benefit, success criteria, timeline, and decision owner.
• Lead short delivery cycles, remove obstacles, and coach two builders while staying involved in prototyping and design decisions.
• Select the simplest workable approach using AI tools, automation, or custom development after evaluating capabilities and vendors.
• Set evaluation standards and compare results with current workflows for quality, cost, and usability.
• Coordinate data access and confidentiality with firm teams; establish review points before expanding pilots or access.
• Manage team capacity and approved spending; keep leadership informed with demonstrations and pipeline updates.
• Prepare pilots for production delivery with IT or other owners, including documentation and operating costs.
