Job summary

Boston Hale seeks an AI & Innovation Lead to shape the firm's AI strategy and deliver practical solutions for legal teams. You will work with senior stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and drive adoption across the firm.

The role focuses on leading pilots, evaluating technologies and coordinating across legal, technology and business teams to embed AI into daily workflows. JD preferred but not essential, with 4+ years in legal environments.

Job description

3 days per week onsite in NYC, 2 days remote.

I'm currently partnering with a top-tier AmLaw 50 firm that is making significant investment in legal AI and innovation, and they're looking to hire an AI & Innovation Lead to help shape the next phase of their AI strategy across the firm.

This is a highly visible role working closely with senior stakeholders to identify, design, and deliver practical AI solutions that improve how legal teams operate.

Key areas of focus include:

• Partnering with lawyers to identify high-value AI use cases and deliver tailored solutions.
• Leading AI pilots, evaluating emerging technologies, and driving firmwide adoption.
• Collaborating across legal, technology, and business teams to embed AI into day-to-day workflows.
• Managing AI-related projects, user engagement, testing, training, and continuous improvement.
• Advising on new AI capabilities, market trends, governance, and strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• JD preferred but not essential
• 4+ years in Legal Environments
• 2+ years Innovation / Legal Tech / AI Solutions delivery experience
• Project Delivery Experience
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Harvey, or similar legal AI platforms would be highly advantageous.
