Job summary

Bitdeer is a world-leading technology company delivering AI and Bitcoin mining infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our US data center, ensuring high availability and reliability of all infrastructure.

You will supervise a team of Operations Engineers, plan staffing, manage incidents, and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive timely resolutions while upholding SOPs, EOPs, and preventive maintenance practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5+ years in Data Center operations
2+ years in team leadership
Experience managing 24x7 shift operations in mission-critical environments
Experience with large-scale AI/HPC clusters
Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the Data Center site to ensure availability and reliability of infrastructure and systems.
Supervise Operations Engineers including manpower planning, shift scheduling, task assignment, and performance management.
Ensure 24x7 operational coverage and adequate staffing to meet business needs and customer requirements.
Act as the primary escalation point for incidents and coordinate cross-functional teams for timely resolution and root cause analysis.
Oversee AI/HPC infrastructure including NVIDIA B300 Clusters, GPU servers, and storage systems.
Establish and continuously improve SOPs, EOPs, and preventive maintenance programs.
Monitor site health, KPIs, incident trends, and infrastructure performance to ensure service quality.
Coordinate hardware installation, rack and stack, system commissioning, and lifecycle management.
Review and approve maintenance activities, change requests, and shift handover records.
Ensure compliance with policies, safety requirements, and security procedures within the Data Center.
Collaborate with engineering, network, facilities, and vendor teams on deployments and improvements.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide hands-on support when required.
Drive a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the site operation team.
