Job summary

WithCoverage, based in New York, seeks a customer-facing engineer for its Growth team to build AI-powered tools and workflows. You will partner with Product, own engineering delivery, and deliver reliable solutions while engaging directly with prospective customers to demonstrate practical AI applications.

You will collaborate closely with Sales and Product, contribute technically in prospect conversations, and help translate customer needs into working prototypes that showcase our AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical experience in engineering or a related field.
• Experience building AI-powered tools and workflows.
• Ability to explain how LLMs work to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong client-facing instincts and ability to guide customers.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution from product to deployment on defined projects.
• Build AI-powered tools, scripts, and integrations; ensure reliability and maintainability.
• Connect LLMs, APIs, and data to solve real workflow problems.
• Join prospect conversations to answer technical questions and demonstrate applications of AI.
• Explain concepts to nontechnical operators and provide practical guidance.
• Document work and communicate tradeoffs to Product and Core Engineering.
