Job summary

Dodge & Cox is seeking an AI Governance Program Manager to organize, coordinate, and advance cross-functional AI governance initiatives. You will work with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and InfoSec to track deliverables, drive decisions, and maintain documentation across multiple workstreams, ensuring timely, well-supported governance outcomes.

The role sits within the AI Governance pillar, reporting to the pillar lead, and offers a path to shape governance processes as the firm matures its AI

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program or project management, with governance- or risk-oriented experience.
• Experience designing or maturing governance processes, operating models, or control frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across legal, compliance, risk, and information security.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, distilling complex information for varied audiences.
• Strong organizational skills, overseeing multiple projects, tasks, and interdependencies.
• Proactive timelines and resource management to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Manage governance workstreams end-to-end: track deliverables, deadlines, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate governance reviews across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Information Security, and stakeholders; ensure documented outcomes.
• Facilitate pillar decision-making by preparing clear materials and guiding input from stakeholders.
• Manage policy-to-deployment reviews for new AI tools in coordination with the Infrastructure pillar.
• Update policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks; identify recurring issues.
• Prepare governance updates and materials for the AI Steering Group.
• Maintain project documentation, status reporting, and a clear record of decisions.
