Job summary

ICW Group in San Diego seeks an AI Governance Manager to lead governance day-to-day, coordinating committees, managing intake-to-decision workflows, ownership of the AI Hub, and maintaining governance artifacts to stay audit-ready and regulator-ready.

Working closely with leadership and management, this role translates policy decisions into consistent execution, guiding cross-functional partners and providing coaching and review of governance work products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in program or project management, governance, risk, or compliance operations within a technology, IT, or regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer AIGEC and its AI Risk & Compliance and Third-Party AI Governance subcommittees: run the cadence, prepare review packs, and document decisions and action items to closure.
• Operate the intake-to-decision workflow -- apply the risk taxonomy, move each use case through lifecycle gates, resolve intake/escalation issues, and maintain the decision log.
• Maintain the AI policy, standard, procedure, and control library with owners and review cadence, coordinate rollout of policy suite.
• Administer the AI Systems Registry as the single audit-ready inventory of AI use cases, models, agents, and vendor AI.
• Own and operate the AI Hub on SharePoint as the enterprise's front door for AI serving employees.
• Serve as the NAIC Response Coordinator for California DOI AI inquiries, coordinate evidence collection, track readiness.
• Operate the governance KPI and KRI dashboard, assemble audit-ready evidence packs, regulatory response materials.
• Coordinate role-based AI governance training, attestation, and change-management learning.
