Job summary

Local World seeks an experienced AI Governance OCM Lead for a high-visibility transformation in the banking/financial services sector. This onsite role drives governance strategy, change management, and executive communications across risk, compliance, legal, and technology teams.

The candidate will translate policies into practical changes, design readiness programs, and build sponsor roadmaps while coaching senior leaders to sustain adoption—onsite in Washington, DC, 3–4 days weekly.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on OCM experience for enterprise-scale transformation.
• Direct banking or financial services industry experience.
• Experience leading change workstreams for at least one end-to-end AI or GenAI implementation.
• Knowledge of AI governance, risk, data privacy, and control frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OCM strategy, planning, and execution for an enterprise AI governance program.
• Translate AI governance policies into practical changes for employees and teams.
• Conduct stakeholder analyses and change impact assessments across roles and processes.
• Develop executive communications, sponsor roadmaps, and change plans.
• Design training and readiness programs around responsible AI use and governance workflows.
• Coordinate with risk, compliance, legal, model risk, technology, and business stakeholders.
• Support adoption of AI governance structures like steering committees and change networks.
• Address resistance, trust concerns, and workforce impacts to AI adoption.
• Establish adoption, readiness, and compliance metrics.
• Coach leaders and champions to sustain ownership.
