Job summary

Momentive Software, Inc. seeks a Director of AI Governance & Enterprise Solutions to set the technical bar for AI design, deployment, and governance across the company.

You will own the Momentive Context Library and lead the review of AI agents for production readiness, while partnering with AI Operations Hub to build reusable patterns and safe, scalable AI capabilities. You will directly design and build AI agents and governance frameworks, defining standards, templates, and reference materials

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years designing and building software or AI systems, with at least 3 years with large language models, AI agents, and production deployments.
• Deep practical expertise with AI agent architectures, LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, and tradeoffs between them.
• Expert-level knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, tool use and function calling, and context window management.
• Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI agents in production environments with deployment architecture, observability, and access controls.
• Experience designing or governing shared knowledge repositories, context management systems, or information architectures for AI systems.
• Strong governance mindset for AI risk and graceful degradation, across enterprise-scale deployments.
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Claude Enterprise, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain technical positions to engineers and non-technical leadership.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF) and responsible AI principles in production.

Responsibilities

• Own and governance the Momentive Context Library, architecture, taxonomy, and content standards for reliable agent consumption.
• Set and enforce standards for centrally-owned content and context across business units.
• Lead technical reviews and go/no-go decisions for AI agents, skills, and connectors in the AI Operations Hub.
• Develop guidelines, patterns, and templates to translate standards into reusable building blocks.
• Design and build AI agents, skills, and connectors for AI Operations Hub tooling and governance.
• Provide hands-on architecture guidance to spoke teams and troubleshoot production deployments.
• Define deployment, monitoring, access controls, and incident response standards for AI agents across the organization.
• Partner with Corporate IT on platform decisions and evaluate AI platforms and vendor solutions.
• Align platform strategy and tooling investments with enterprise portfolio goals.
• Create technical reference materials, design pattern libraries, and decision guides; deliver targeted training and workshops.
• Connect spoke teams to share reuse, patterns, and prior work to avoid reinventing the wheel.
• Other duties as assigned.
