Job summary

CNA is seeking a Consulting Director, AI Governance to advance the enterprise AI governance program. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Responsible AI, guiding governance policies, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration across Technology, Security, Legal, Compliance, Data, and Risk teams.

The role emphasizes scalable governance processes, standards, and controls to enable responsible AI innovation with a high degree of autonomy and influence across matrixed environments.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of AI governance, Responsible AI, AI risk management and governance frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing governance policies, standards, and reviews.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Serve as enterprise SME on AI governance, Responsible AI, AI risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Lead development and maintenance of AI governance policies and review methodologies.
• Improve governance processes with repeatable patterns and automation.
• Collaborate with Technology Risk and Security to embed AI risks in governance controls.
• Advise on AI risk scenarios including Generative AI, ML, LLMs, and model risk management.
• Develop and deliver executive-level governance communications and training.
