Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in audit, compliance, or risk within large financial services.
• Experience supporting AI governance and oversight with responsible AI principles.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and build a function from scratch.
• Proven success leading large-scale control and risk initiatives across business groups.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management at leadership level.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Represent GEAR in enterprise AI governance forums and committees.
• Translate AI strategy and risk expectations into practical requirements.
• Assess design and effectiveness of risk and control environment.
• Identify AI opportunities to improve processes and reduce manual effort.
• Lead governance routines, meeting materials, minutes, and action tracking.
• Oversee QA practices to support business continuity.
• Collaborate with operations, legal, risk, compliance, and audit teams.
