Qualifications

• Experience in Audit, Compliance, or Risk within a large financial services company.
• Experience supporting AI governance and oversight activities.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and build a function or team from the ground up.
• Proven track record leading large-scale control or risk transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Represent GEAR in enterprise AI governance forums and lead stakeholder engagement.
• Translate AI strategy and risk expectations into practical requirements for stakeholders.
• Lead the assessment of design and effectiveness of risk controls to support operations.
• Identify AI opportunities that improve processes, strengthen controls, and deliver measurable value.
• Manage AI opportunity pipeline from ideation to adoption and milestones.
• Coordinate risk assessments, approvals, and readiness activities for AI-enabled solutions.
• Lead governance routines, including agendas, minutes, and reporting.
• Define and monitor controls performance indicators and remediation progress.
• Support control monitoring and testing and propose enhancements.
• Provide leadership reporting and collaborate with risk, compliance, and audit teams.
